Description
The Mitsubishi EM-A Series Sensorless Servo Motor offers excellent positioning control without the need for an encoder. The salient-pole core with surface-mounted permanent magnets facilitates motor inductance which varies based on rotational position, offering highly precise position detection.
Continuous operation is possible at maximum speeds of 4000rpm, with speed variation within ±0.05% (with digital input). Maximum rated torque is up to 200% (up to 23.9Nm rated). This allows the motor to maintain stable speed even under changing loads, without significant variations. The lock function generates holding torque when the motor stops, preventing movement from external forces. The EM-A Series is suitable for high-precision transfer systems in semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing lines.
