The Mitsubishi MELSEC iQ-F FX5 Series Simple Positioning Module (models FX5-40SSC-S and FX5-80SSC-S) provides compact, high-performance 4/8-axis motion control capabilities integrated with SSCNET III/H positioning control. It can be used for various purposes by combining linear interpolation, 2-axis circular interpolation, constant quantity feed, and continuous path control in a table-based program. Synchronous control features of this module line include independent start/stop of each axis, and coexistence of synchronously-controlled axes and position-controlled axes on the same system. All axes can be synchronized to the synchronous encoder axis enabling use with a range of application systems including sealing, palletizing operations, grinding and packaging operations.
