The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-JE Series Servo Motor offers low inertia, small capacity (HG-KN), and medium inertia, medium capacity (HG-SN) motor configurations suited to a range of automated applications including Semiconductor/FPD/photovoltaic manufacturing systems, X-Y tables, robotics, feeders and sliders, food processing and packaging machines, press machines and more. The HG-KN model offers rated speeds up to 3000rpm (5000rpm max), whereas the HG-SN model features rated speeds up to 2000rpm (3000rpm max).

The HG-KNS and KH-SNS Series integrate a standard-issued 17-bit incremental encoder that operates at 131,072 pulses per revolution. Thanks to these inbuilt encoders, technicians can configure absolute position detection systems without additional components beyond a battery.
