The Mitsubishi MELSERVO-J5 HK-MT Series Servo Motor is an ultra-low inertia, small capacity motor suited to high-throughput operations, including inserter and mounter systems. This series can replaces existing HG-JR Series, with more compact dimensions, and a 26-bit battery-less absolute position encoder. Thanks to these standard-issued encoders, technicians can configure absolute position systems without the need for additional components. The battery-less design also eliminates the need for battery replacement, reducing associated maintenance costs. Rated speed is 3000rpm, with a 6700rpm maximum for standard configurations. A high speed maximum of up to 10000rpm is available with V variants, which feature an incremental encoder. Models are 200V class.

The all-in-one single connector design of the HK-MT Series combines motor power supply, encoder, and the electromagnetic brake into a single cable for easy installation. The combined compact design, simplified wiring, and maintenance-free operation makes this product a reliable solution for a range of automated environments.
