Description

TheSICK TTK70 Series Encoder is a compact linear measurement system engineered for precision, speed, and dynamic performance in absolute position and speed recording applications. Utilizing magnetic principle technology with a non-contact design, the system features a compact read head paired with magnetic tape that contains both incremental and absolute track divisions for reliable position measurement. With an ultra-high resolution of 1µm and measuring lengths up to 3.92 meters, the TTK70 delivers exceptional accuracy for high-speed applications up to 10m/s. Available with HIPERFACE or SSI interface options, the system provides flexible integration with multiple connection types including M12 12-pin and 8-pin male connectors, plus 8-wire cable options, ensuring compatibility across diverse automation environments.

Designed for maintenance-free operation and maximum reliability, the TTK70 Series eliminates the need for reference runs through its absolute position recording capability, enabling immediate operation after installation. The non-contact measurement principle ensures wear-free performance even when the magnetic tape is exposed to contamination and condensation, while the small, compact read head design and low weight facilitate easy installation in space-constrained applications.
