Description
The SICK DUV60 Series Encoder is a versatile measuring wheel encoder with DIP switch configuration, optimized for conveyor, web and logistics applications. Available in single and dual wheel configurations with measuring wheel circumferences of 300mm, 11.75in or 12in, this encoder features flexible spring arm designs including encoder-on-mounting-side and wheel-on-mounting-side options with spring deflection of ±3mm or ±10mm (depending on model). The measuring wheel surface options include O-ring NBR70 or smooth plastic (urethane). With an operating temperature range of -30 to 70°C and universal 4.5V to 30V supply voltage, the DUV60 Series delivers dependable performance in diverse industrial environments.
Designed for simplicity and ease of use, the DUV60 Series features built-in DIP switches that enable quick configuration of output voltage, resolution, and counting direction. On-board status and signal LEDs, along with the fault output provide instant feedback on encoder functionality, minimizing installation time and troubleshooting efforts. The encoder offers versatile connectivity through M12 male connector in 4- or 8-pin configurations, or universal cable outlet, with TTL incremental communication interface.
