Description
The SICK DFV60 Series Encoder is a durable, high-performance incremental encoder designed for precise position and speed measurement directly on conveyor belt systems in demanding industrial environments. Featuring 300 or 500mm circumference measuring wheels with NBR70 O-rings or aluminum surface, this encoder delivers durable performance, with resolution down to 0.1 pulses/mm (depending on the model). The universal rotatable spring arm with ±10mm deflection ensures quick mounting, while the encoder's impressive operating temperature range of -20 to 100°C make it suitable for applications subject to harsh ambient conditions.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the DFV60 Series offers programmable output voltage, zero pulse position, zero impulse width and line counts from 1 to 65,536 pulses, enabling precise application-specific adaptations. The encoder features multiple communication interfaces (Incremental TTL/HTL) and versatile connection options including M12 radial plug-in or cable connections in radial or axial configurations. Electrical interfaces support 5V/24V TTL/RS-422 and 24V HTL/push-pull for seamless integration into existing automation systems.
