The SICK Safe Portal Series Safety System offers efficient access monitoring at material transfer stations. Standard variants include two safety laser scanners, with a function module for the Siemens S7 controller. The scanners are vertically aligned offer protections up to PL d, through adaptive protective field evaluation. This ensures reliable differentiation between humans and materials, with objects matching predefined contours able to pass through stations seamlessly.
