The SICK Safe Entry Exit Series Safety System is a PL e, SIL 3 safety level, TÜV-certified alternative to traditional muting solutions. This product line ensures safe material flow via safe differentiation between man and material through a signal from the process controller, eliminating the need for additional muting sensors. Any type 4 electro-sensitive protective device (ESPE) can be combined with the software for Siemens S7 controllers (depending on application requirements). Up to 15 material gates can be monitored.
